A1A, Are you running the knife down the dorsal before battering and frying. When I use to eat Bream I would cut along the dorsal and pull it out before frying. Is this a similar technique?

I'm estimating the hook at 3 lbs. I wont even need lead. Instead of 8 & bait it will be hook & chunk!

Dave, I'll be your sponsor and our meeting are always the 2nd Monday of each month. So, 8/9/11 at Copelands rest on Southside blvd. We have dinner at 6PM and Meeting at 7PM. I'm looking forward to seeing ya'll soon. Noel
