Good fishing, but you are going to have to beat the Mayor to the hole, or catch it on the day he isn't fishing.  Hint: He only uses river shrimp, but live sacrificed on the beach will work, and as always a piece of Fishbites! Let us working stiffs know how you do. Good luck!

I check Rutger's Sea Surface Temperature, regularly, and was curious about what Tyler may expect in Ormond/Daytona area.  I also wanted to review the pompano bite in Boca and other areas.

It's a whiting.  We normally keep them when they are 11' or better, but there is no slot size or limit. The larger whiting are great filleted and fried, baked, broiled or made into fish cakes.  Some people I know like them small.  They just gut them, dehead them, scale them and fry...
