Busted out of work and hit the beach about noon. I cast my first pole out and started rigging my other pole. I turned my back and when I looked back my pole was doubled over and the sand spike was slowly being pulled over. I jumped to grab the pole and loosen the drag. Too late. He broke me off. ...

Hit the beach at sunrise ready for some fishing. An east wind and a nice chop on the water looked good. It seems like all I caught were spots. Spots everywhere. Spots in my dreams. Spot doubles. If it wasn't spots it was jacks. I left at 9 to go to work and get away from the spots.

Saw the good report from yesterday  and had to get out there this morning at daybreak. It was a whole lot SLOWERRRR today. It was such a beautiful morning I stuck it out and after 4 and a half hours I finally caught dinner. Count in the cooler -  1pompano, 1black drum, 2 bluefish and 5 ...

I have been doing well with shrimp and clams. I did gather a bunch of fleas last time and put them in the freezer.  plan on using them soon when the fleas are scarce and the fish are less picky.

Good for you, Fleaflicker I tried to get to the beach yesterday to take advantage of those east winds, but alas I could not make it until today.  Winds were out of the south but the water was still clear. I made it to the beach at 2pm. Fishing was real slow. Only got 2 whiting and a margate....
