Re: picture test  (N/A)

Ok...firstly, you have to have a photo storage site to 'host' your pictures. This requires alot of storage capabilities, and it allows websites like this to have pictures, without having to store them. Photobucket is a popular one. All pictures can be viewed by the public, and it is free. BUT....like everything on the web, there is a price to pay. They want a "confirmation" of some kind, and usually it is a cell phone number. Use your enemy's number and he will receive text messages once a week for several months.

Create your account and password at Photobucket.

Then, click the blue "Upload" button there on that site. Hunt the drop down box named "Select File" for the file, in the area, where your picture exists on your computer, and once located and highlighted, click the "Open" button in the bottom of that window.

After uploading the picture to your new account, it will appear below that upload button. Then minimize this screen. There is a small button on the top right of your screen two over from the red X. Looks like a dash.

Now open your internet browser, just like you were starting to go on-line again. You will have two running at the same time. Then on that new screen, come here and start a post or make a reply. When ready to insert picture....minimize this site's screen, and go to Photobucket screen. At the bottom left of the screen is a button that when clicked, will open the previously minimized screen.

Hover your cursor over the picture. A drop down box will appear. There will be a selection that says "Direct Link". Next to it will be a box with text in it. LEFT click it to turn it blue, then RIGHT click it and select "Copy". Then minimize the screen.

Come back to club site and in the tool bar, right above were you are typing, is a yellow smiley face. Just to the left of it is a mountain scene with the sun. Click that scene button. Look near the top of this new window and you will see "URL". There is a box just under URL. LEFT click in that box, then RIGHT click in the box, and then select "Paste". Now click OK at the bottom.

Now your picture will appear.

Pointer- If you intend to write something, or add another picture below this picture, you should make some room for it first. Hit the ENTER button multiple times to create some space, then use your arrow UP button to position the cursor where the picture should be. If you don't, it is hard to add anything after the picture appears.

Pointer2- You can edit your photos in Photobucket, making them smaller. AVATARS are popular, but usually must be very small. But you can also shrink the pictures you post here, by editing them first.

BTW- Photobucket doesn't like nude pictures, but with the billions submitted- how do they know ? Hmmmmm.

They have a program that determines the percentage of the picture that has flesh tones, then they examine the ones the program suspects are nudes. BUT.... some wish to be internet models anyways, and simply wear some clothes. I think it is all foolish, because kids see it all over the internet anyways. I was stealing Playboy and Penthouse magazines out of the dumpster behind the RX once a month when I was about five. They would cut the name off the cover and then just chuck them. I guess they got credited for the number of name scraps. The old man caught "us" in it one day. Of course my friends ran, but I was inside that great big dumpster and had no where to go. Poor Mom.

Somehow, I wish America could go back to those days. Nothing is being left to their little imaginations. Shame really.
