Posting Picture on FSC Forum

To post pictures to the FSC forum you must use the tool bar that is at the top of the post box. If the tool bar is not displayed you may have to click the small arrow in the upper left hand corner to drop it down.

Figure 1.a : Toll bar Example

Figure 1.b : Unhidden toolbar

Now we have to use the add Image button on the tool bar

Figure 2 :

When you click on the add Image button you should get a pop up window. (see Figure 3.a) Note: You may need to disable pop ups for this site in the browser you are using.

Figure 3.a : Add Image

Now here is were we add the images. Note: The FSC site does not allow the uploading of images on their site but you can link to images that are posted on other sites like http://photobucket.com. We will use Photobucket in this example.

From Photobucket you get a list of image link options (See figure 3.b). For our forum we want to use direct Link. If you click on the Direct link it will copy it for you. Once you have copied the direct link. you will post it in the URL box in the Image properties window. (see Figure 3.c) Click the OK button and you should have the Image in the post.

Figure 3.b: Photobucket image link code

Figure 3.c : Pasting Direct Link code

I tried it with webshots and photobucket.I clicked on the thumbnail to get a large picture and copied the URL but kept getting the RED X.

My son said once I got the large picture I had to click on the + sign or magnifying glass  to get an even larger picture. Then copy the URL.
