The whiting and ground mullet have been heavy in o bch and many have been big! Most have been caught on fresh shrimp and small pieces of gulp.I caught a good bunch of nice ones at east bch just before dark

Last weekend over at johnson bch I saw a cooler full of the biggest pompano I,ve ever seen[even bigger than what you and lyndon caught this spring steve] and a couple of ground mullet that had to weigh at least 2 -3lbs. One of the pompano had to be at least 6lbs but would not surprise me if it weight more of course I was walking with the wife and not fishing. Not many bull drum as of yet

                                                                                                   Good Luck

Matt

Good to hear from you. Check my new email. Maybe we can get together and you can teach me something. My foot is healed and I can go. Well; not exactly healed, but fishable. C2

I can't imagine anyone going to JB unarmed(sans fishing rod). The next time that it happens mosey on down the road and get one of mine that hasn't been taught any bad habits.

For MSU  guy: If you fish with bait, you can expect the trash fish. Switch to a jig and catch real fish. JMHO C2
