Excellent suggestion.

The hook is a long shank, true circle (no offset). Long lasting, strong, stainless steel, and retains sharpness- BUT....must be sharpened right out of the box. They come dull, must be some fly fishing thing.

The sizes suggested are perfect. I enjoy a nice 5/0 for me sharks. The 2/0 would do a permit.

BTW- Earl used a uni knot to fasten his because the bluefish had trouble slashing his traces that way.
