 Made it down just north of the wall at sunrise. It was a beautiful sunrise. I fished peeled shrimp on one rod and small mullet chunks on another. 6 really fat whiting and 5-6 really small ones that went back. Also one nice blue on the mullet. All caught within one hour of sunrise. After that the bite fell off . Off the beach at 8:30am. T

That sounds like a good morning. Fish and eggs for breakfast! My son and I have been doing really good down the beach from you. We caught about 6 or 7 nice whiting and some spots that we kept. Caught a black drum but it was too small. That was this last friday. Got there and fished the incoming tide which did us pretty good.

Hawcreek, Glad to see you found this site. I'm starting to see a few more fisherman on the board from the NSB area. If you have any questions? these guys and gals know their surf fishing. I've learned alot from them here. I wasn't able to make it down to the beach this weekend but usually make it Sunday early morningand fish till beachgoers show up. My wife and two year old then meet me down there around 10:00am (they're not to keen on getting up at 5:30 on Sunday) Last week I caught 18 whiting and something that took about 100 feet of line out then came in toward the beach then proceeded east again and didn't stop (or should I say I didn't give him much of a fight). I assume it was shark as there have been qute a few "bigger" sharks sighted lately . Anyway, see you on the beach sometime. I drive a white Dodge Ram ext cab 4x4. stop by and say "Hi"    T.
