Went out to Pounce De Leon (PDL) yesterday afternoon and it was uneventful...I wanted to get there this AM but scheduling conflicts kept me here behind the keyboard instead of "out there" enjoying the warm water...   Anyway, yesterday PM I caught 1 "small" pompano and a hardhead...something big hit my pole after I switched from clams to shrimp and took me for ride.  While fighting this unknown creature; my other rod goes off and I almost get spooled...  A good-hearted soul grab my pole and fought another "something" for about 5 minutes then both "somethings" got away...  After that, I watched my rod tips for hours without even a single nibble...Oh well, that's why it's called fishing...

Get out there and keep the forum informed...the pomps are out there right now and fresh shrimp is the bait of choice...
