Met at the rest stop just north of 210 at 3:30a, exactly, and arrived at Black Dog B&T at 5:30a.  If you ever want to get somewhere fast, put Jerry in the lead.

Fished Noel's spot until about 9a.  Dave and Michelle caught  a nice drum, Chad a nice pompano and Noel a very nice pompano, about 17".  Jerry and I where catching whiting and catfish.  Well, everyone was catching catfish.

Dave and Michelle decided to stay while the rest of us went to eat breakfast and reset south of Sebastian Inlet.

Noel caught another barely legal pompano while the rest of us worked on the big cats and small whiting.

At the afternood break I noticed a  "man down" and went to find Noel on the beach holding a bloody stump of a toe while Jerry, nonchalantly, cleved a large blue crab into bite sided piece.  He motioned with his knife to his bag and said a first aid kit could be found inside.  Apparently Jerry had put a spell on Noel (after his second pompano catch), which made Noel try to kick a catfish back into the water, thus spearing his big toe rather deeply.

After some first aid  Noel got back to fishing and caught the second Permit I had seen caught that day.

Great fun and a beautiful day!

I wished our water looked like that more often.

I watched Noel's show on TV last week and got a kick out of the guy getting bite by both claws on that crab.I also noticed Noel got a chuckle out of it too.Bad karma came back to Noel's toe he schould have know better.

We'll need a 8pm update before we send Doc Austin over to amputate with his pruning shears.

Noel's must be both blessed and jinxed.  This Noel was Bigman22, not our original Noel, Noel Kuhn.  It would be funny to see Doc Austin show up at the wrong Noel's home ready for surgery.  Why does this remind me of a MASH episode?

Jim, you are right about the water.  South of the inlet is was beautiful  I have actually seen several days of that clear green water at Matanzas this year.

North of the inlet, in Melbourne, the water was not as nice.  A little murky.

Doc Austin just knocked at my door. The toe is good. Vasectomy was 10% off. Nancy's annual groinalogical exam was free. That Doc Austin is truely a giver!

Bennie, I like the picture. Is that you, Charlie, Lyndon, and Earl?

Suellen, Glad your trip went well. I just love an  adventure!

See ya'll next weekend, Noel

Even if you don't catch fish you're still at the beach. It's a Win Win!
