Sounds like you had a good day Rog --'cept for the rod. I saw a buddy break a Lamiglas tip that same way a number of years ago trying to lift a decent striper up on some rocks. I'd check with Toejam to see if he has any extra tips.

Still too hot for me to fish, so I'm going to take my little grand daughter for a float on the Ichatucknee tomorrow - sounds like a lotta fun!

Roger, To bad about the rod. However, Nice Bonnethead. They are a blast to catch. I'm going to try Friday afternoon to do the same.

Even if you don't catch fish you're still at the beach. It's a Win Win!

Regarding the rod ... I contacted Toejam Sunday to see what options I had for repairs/replacement. Sunday night Toejam had already replied back with a very favorable and generous solution. WT is a stand up guy and although I have never met him, I consider him a friend.

For all you guys out there sitting on the fence about getting that Team Alabama rod... Toejam's "service after the sale" is all the more reason to choose one. He is receiving a new shipment in about a week ... get em while they're hot.
