REAL SLOOOOW! 2 Pomps, 6 Whiting, 1 Drum. Fished with Brad, Mark, John, Josie, Roger, and Scott! Beautiful day. Did I mention the slow bite.

Even if you don't catch fish you're still at the beach. It's a Win Win!

slow is the word.   I almost got skunked except for the  one 11inch whiting that I sent back to Triton.

You guys aren't kidding about it being a slow day at Matanzas.  I fished 7:30AM until about 12:30PM.  Had 3 whiting during that time period, a 10", 12" and 15".  First 2 hours bait was untouched.  Fished with fresh dead shrimp, live sand fleas and blue crab knuckles.  Otherwise, a great day on the beach.

Sounds like a nice opportunity for some of your rowdy friends to join you in some early evening fishing.  Just let us know when they start biting again!
