Sunday caught two whiting in the surf at the mouth of the sound at Amelia Island. Fishing  conditions went south quick there after a quick feeding time. Me and my neighbor left Amelia Island and fished Simpson Creek in the afternoon. Caught two Sea Trout one under size one keeper, numerous small black drum and one keeper black drum. A few sand perch and a croker in the mix as well from Simpson Creek. Well it was better than getting skunked. We had a great fish fry that night as well. We will be back out at Amelia Island this Sunday morning on the 14th. Taking the Mayport Ferry over and spending the morning on the beach and in the sound. The rest of the afternoon will be at Simpson Creek after 3 PM.

Most guys don't obey the laws and why I don't know maybe they are hungry. But the bite is on up here in Ponte Vedra through Amelia Island. My neighbor went again and came home with a mess of whiting. He is going tomorrow so hopefully I can get some pictures up on the site. I have to work so I am missing out. I might try for an afternoon cast but will be on the beach Monday and Tuesday in Ponte Vedra Beach at 32nd Ave. South.
