Re: rod holders  (N/A)

The Excalibur made by Rob is an excellent choice for a sandspike. I purchased one at the club tourney sale this past April have used it on all my subsequent trips to the beach. It will be a "featured spike' at the upcoming surf fishing class.

Re: rod holders  (N/A)

I have a Excalibur from Rob,,,,,,,, the spike of spikes.  For the amount of Aluminium in it,  I can figure out how he can sell them so cheap!  It my go to spike when shark fishing!

That's what I like about the Excalibre. If you are out of town and lose your wallet, you can recycle the spike for enough gas money to get you home.

Re: rod holders  (N/A)

Again, I agree with you all about the Excaliber.  It is definitely Heavy Duty.  I just don't happen to fish for big fish, but if I did I would own one of these spikes, too.
