Hey I was wondering if nassau sounds bridge was a good place to fish. Me and my dad are going fishing this friday and we do not know if we should fish the bridge, LTI or the surf beside the bridge in nassau. We are wanting to catch sharks but anything would be fine. Do people catch alot on the bridge? I would greatly appreciate the help.

Go up to half way up the hump of the bridge and throw over a half a crab on a big hook and you will catch bonnethead sharks.  Just bring a big bridge net.

Good luck!

Hey Justin, also along on the bridge ya have a good chance at some trout.  land mark would be by the wash sink facing east float rig with a stop knot so ya can ajust the depth 1/2  1 -0z egg sinker depending on the size of the float used. just ajust til the float is standing stright best to dift when current is almost slacked keep close to the pilons and even let it go past the bridge that everyone drives on. If they are their you will get alot of hits.  my best has been a 6# 2/0 widebend works great live shrimp needed.  also like suellen said hump of bridge cut bait or whitting head if ya get any, have in past caught some blk tips in the 2-4 footer range. just watch ya pole very large rays also may hit it.  flounder can be caught if in the area out along the docs just across from the bait shop that used to be open.  Can wade out at dead low just watch oyster beds in the sand wear shoes. i found out the hard way once.  and also plenty of mud minnows just behind the bait shop small channel they group in. watch for snakes had incouters with them also when i worked there. Good luck and happy fishing.

Thank God for laughter,it their was'nt any the world be a sadder place too live.
