Certainly no offense here to that link -- I have been the beneficary of Tom & Ian's generosity, and am a proponent of the equipment found there..
For the past two plus years I have fished using fishing luggage from the Ian Golds line. I don't go on the beach without carrying all my terminal tackle and other gear in my Ian Golds "backpack." In the pack are several Ian Gold "rig wallets", with all my pretied rigs, sheathed bait knife, hand gaff, dehooker, fishing pliers, measuring tape, a range of leads three to six ounces, finger protectors for casting braid on spinners and thumb protectors for casting multipliers, a rod belt, small binoculars, cell phone, sun screen, night light for fitting on ball cap, snack bars and several "slime rags". The many compartments allow me to have everything well organized, and at my finger tips.
When I'm fishing in a spot that I can't get to with my cart, I carry in two rods and spikes with the Ian Golds "Rod Bag", which slings over the shoulder with a nice padded strap.
These Ian Golds fishing luggage products are well designed - exclusively for the surf fisherman and are rugged - I use mine hundreds of time each year, and have never had a failure. I'm looking forward to trying the Ian Golds tripod -- I think it will add immeasurably to my fishing pleasure in the "Hammock" area of Flagler County, where the coquina rock makes it difficult to properly place sand spikes.
I recommend rig wallets and either a back pack or a tripod as prizes; if that is within the range of donation.
If at the EXPO / tournament anyone has any questions regarding the Ian Golds product line, I would be pleased to discuss their merits. Hope you can make it over Tom!
