New guy here.  (N/A)

Hey what's up everyone I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Mike 24 years old and currently in the Tampa area(Clearwater). I'm not new to fishing, we do alot offshore trolling(bonito, spanish macks, jacks, etc). I've really wanted to get into shark fishing from the shore for awhile now. I have caught a few sharks, a few bonnetheads, a litte blacktip but nothing crazy. I've been with friends while they were shark fishing and there is just something about it that is undescribable. Here are a few pictures of two of the poles I use alot, the black one is an old solid fiberglass blank with an old Penn reel( I've got a Senator 6/0, just waiting for parts) the offwhite is a 6ft Penn senator stand up with a 6/0 Senator reel. I hope to hear from all.

Welcome!  I'm pretty new here as well, but this site is great.  Tons of knowledge and advice.
I don't do any shark fishing; I'm still trying to get better at the smaller ones.

I'd like to get out your way to fish some time.  Never enough time.

FinCrazy, Thanks for checking us out. There are a few of us that love to shark fish on this board. We are mainly about surf casting for everything that sharks like to eat. I'm going to give you an awesome website/board that is great for hardcore sharking. They are more about sharking with some surfcasting thrown in to. They are Texas based so all of there tips and techniques will work in your backyard just fine. They have helped me and they will help you. Great bunch of guys. Some of them even make a trip over to Boca Grand pass each year to fish off the beach. Good Luck and soak up their knowledge, Noel

Even if you don't catch fish you're still at the beach. It's a Win Win!

I'm over in Orlando.  It makes for an all day event if I want to hit the beach.
