Mantanzas Sat June 19th

We were to meet up at the baitshop, according to instructions, but someone forgot to tell baitgirl.

There were quite a few people associated with the club on the beach when we finally got there.

This is the veiw from the lonely end of the beach....where the fish were not, the spot where I was stationed.

Met some folks that were laughing and running around reeling in fish after fish.....whilest I sat staring at baren rods. Here they are gloating for the camera.

Yeah....they do look a little too happy- don't they ?

Must be nice. Disgusting to watch these two carrying on like they did.

Here is another one that was completely out of control.

It looked like everyone else was having a great time, but I am not mad about it. No...I am not mad. The hell I ain't mad.

I also met Noel aka Bigman. Noel if you need a sponsor to join the club, let me know.

Basically, it was hot. Sunny and hot. There were a few mullet around. I saw others catch bonnet head sharks, alot of sharks, and some whiting and some bluefish and some pomapnyo. Hopefully, someone's Dad will have a nice fish fry tomorrow. I miss my Dad.

I am going to skip the humiliation of it all tomorrow and go skin diving instead. Scallops out of Steinhatchee with RedSled.

Thanks for inviting me to come along. I guess you knew you would need someone who would have time to take pictures.

BTW- I kept thinking about what our "Members Only" tournament is going to look like this fall. Maybe some of the new folks will volunteer to assist, because whoever is weighmaster is gonna need some help. These people catch fish.

Very nice, maybe I should have made that long drive.
