Mucho congrats Bro! Not only are my hooks sharpened but I just put head lights on Nancy's, Nicole's, and my bicycle. We are planning on leaving the house at 4:30am  Saturday and hitting the beach before first light. Once again, nice fish Marshall. Hope there is more in store for you this season. See ya on the beach, Noel

Even if you don't catch fish you're still at the beach. It's a Win Win!

Thanks, it was a double hook set-up and the 2nd hook was set as a slider that was not fixed so during the fight she got hooked on the chin.  I was using 2 14/0 offset owner marlin hooks. What sucks is we did not have a mesuring tape and we could not get the exact length and girth...

No doubt 7' and change. NICE Shark! Just goes to show the success of freakin' Rays as bait, keep soakin' them and your next one will be a Tiger for sure. Plus, they stay on the hook good!!! As for not having a tape, if you think of it just use a small rope and tie it off for the beginning and ending knots (total length) and then when you get home or whatever you can measure the rope/string etc.
