Bennie joined the club Monday night, but he is on "Probation" for two months (at least).   He can do and build anything, offers to help to the point of embarrassment , and just loves to fish!  He has always been a great asset to all our club members, only difference is now he can fish in our tourneys.

He is working on his basket for the steamer pot right now so we can represent you well.  We aren't going to actually be contestents, but I did want to try your method so, why not.  It is best if you compete yourself; there will be other opportunities.

Oh, and it's Suellen, I'm a yankee.

Actually Paul, when those city folks came pouring across the DELMARVA peninsula on route 50, headed to clog up the beach at my beloved Ocean City, we referred to them as "Baltimorons".

We didn't hold anyone from the Western Shore in high regard. We believed that the only good thing about the Western Shore was that it held up the far end of the Bay Bridge -- case we got a ticket to see Johnny Unitas or Brooks Robinson play ball.

And yes, you do need to know the difference between the "parlor', "kitchen" and "bedroom" of a crab pot. Them boys from Tangier, Tilgman and Hoopers Islands were born with that amount of waterman knowledge. As a culture they're on the way out I'm afraid.

We'll make time to go fishing next week. Maybe we can get Steve and Oscar from the Geezer troops to join us.
