My son picked these up at a Dollar Store for $1.50 he thinks. They are battery operated so you can re-use them.I haven't used them fishing yet but my son cut one up and put it around the dogs collar. We turned him loose last night around 2 am and could see he chasing cats about 70 yards away. They come in green and blue.

JimC can you find out which Dollar Store:  Dollar General, Dollare Tree or The Dollar Store and save me from running around like those hounds of yours?

It was the Dollar Store right next to Food Lion on Old St Augustine Rd,where it crosses Hartley and Hood.I think it's called Family Dollar. They were out of them this morning and the guy didn't know when the next ones would be in.He thought there would be more as they sold quick and Holloween is soon. They had them next to the cash register. If I had more then one left I would leave it on to see how long they last. They didn't have any type of glow sticks or necklaces either,I even went to the store(Dollar General) on Losco and they didn't have any glow products either.

You can get them at home depot or walmart for between $3-$5, these cost more because they last 200 hours and also have a flash light and a whistle. Perfect for night fishing and they come in blue green & red. You can have just a solid glow or flashing...Made by Life +Gear
