Tournament Rules - All entrants are subject to the Florida Fishing Regulations, including size/bag limits, as set forth by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The FWC regs are available at MyFWC.com/marine. In addition, the following rules apply for this tournament:
- All fishing will be done standing on the beach only, not from inlets, piers, bridges, dams, boats, etc.
- No nets of any description.
- Whiting and Pompano (fork of tail to nose) must be minimum size 11 inches
- In order to win a prize, you must present your fishing license or proof of exemption.
- Fishermen holding a commercial license are ineligible to participate.
- The entrant must present the fish he deems largest to the weigh master. Entrant decides, not weigh master.
- Each individual entrant may win only one prize.
- Fishing Times – Fishing will begin at 6:30 AM on Sunday April 29th, 2012.
Weigh-In Times/Location – The weigh in is at St. Johns County Ocean Pier, 350 A1A Beach Blvd, St. Augstine, FL. Begin weighing fish at 1:00pm and you must be in line to weigh in no later than 3:30pm. There will be no exceptions made to this policy. If you have not signed-in with the Weigh Master Station by this cutoff time your fish will not be considered. Fish size and weight will be measured by the weigh master who has the final word on any and all disputes regarding these matters. Other discrepancies should be directed to the Tournament Chairman.

Protests/Rules Interpretations – Anyone feeling the need to submit a protest must do so in writing to the Tournament Chair (Steve Persampieri) within 30 minutes of weigh-in completion.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS
- Fill out the form available at this location and mail it in along with your check or money order payable to Florida Surfcasters . $20 adults and $5 for those under 16 years of age. Postmark no later than April 23, 2012.
- Register online at www.floridasurfcasters.com and pay with Pay Pal.
- There will be on site registration the morning of the tournament at St. Johns County Ocean Pier
- Regardless how you register, you will be assigned an entrant number. If you do not know your number by the day of the tournament, it means that the tournament officials have no record of your registration. Be sure to have your entrant number when you arrive at the weigh in. IMPORTANT !
